Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time delivery
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate shipment status and delays proactively to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat handling (if applicable)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
