Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and damage prevention.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Drug Screen on file.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if necessary.
