Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner across New York and surrounding states.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and dispatchers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License with a clean driving record (no DUI in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience with flatbed or tanker trailers preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
