Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on regional and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo while strictly adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and ensure vehicle readiness.
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure the truck cabin and cargo area are kept clean and organized.
- Adhere to all hours-of-service (HOS) regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT medical card on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
