Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to time schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and move cargo items weighing up to 50 lbs.
