Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and cleanliness in the vehicle and workplace.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
