Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and cargo documentation.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement methods and safety protocols.
- Excellent navigation skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
