Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated destinations on schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure full adherence to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company brand.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle records check.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
