Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including DVIR and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) issued within the last 2 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
