Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks safely and efficiently to transport cargo to designated destinations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo properly and adhere to load securement standards.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and all required paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid U.S. work authorization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
