Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Southwest region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and DOT compliance.
- Secure cargo according to safety regulations to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device - ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving abstract (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, hours-of-service (HOS) rules, and safety protocols.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
