Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules and delivery issues.
- Uphold a professional image at all times, representing Keystone Transport Solutions positively.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on vehicle type).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT hours of service (HOS) rules and regulations.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for safety compliance.
