Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight safely and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Complete daily logs (DOT/Eld) and delivery documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold company safety standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam (drug screen required).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and occasional overtime.
