Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours-of-service documentation.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo protection and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
