Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper securing and safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and electronic paperwork within federal regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to learn and complete company-sponsored training programs.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekend availability.
