Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (ELD) while adhering to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Ensure the truck cabin and cargo area remain clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or be willing to obtain one through our training program.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Willingness to work varying shifts and be on call for dispatch adjustments.
