Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in a professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Deliver freight on time and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required (or willingness to obtain one through our sponsored training program).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
