Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, adhering to weight restrictions and securement procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or be willing to obtain one through our sponsored training program.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform minor vehicle checks.
