Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with the proper endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience in local delivery or freight hauling preferred.
