Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over assigned routes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Document cargo accurately and obtain proper signatures for delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at each delivery stop.
- Manage logistics documentation, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs, accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
