Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/MCS-150) and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical assessment.
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and roadways.
