Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on local and regional routes within Nevada.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to pass a road test and vehicle inspection.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record.
