Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the equipment.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and cargo securement.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
