Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations or DUIs in the last 5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of road maps, traffic patterns, and cargo handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
