Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logs.
- Load and unload cargo safely, using proper equipment and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Represent the company professionally at all times while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean MVR.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service (HOS), and logbook requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions.
- Current Medical Card and Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
