Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to designated locations in Illinois and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and ensure a high level of service delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
