Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment, ensuring the safety of the cargo and other road users.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and address any route changes.
- Represent the company professionally while representing our brand on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
