Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip for compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload shipments using proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes to avoid traffic delays in metropolitan areas
- Collaborate with dispatch team for on-time delivery optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Philadelphia/NYC metro areas
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
