Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload freight cargo while ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service compliance.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently and adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding schedules and cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations or DUIs.
- Ability to pass a background check and substance abuse screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety standards.
