Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all materials are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering freight to designated locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Familiarity with Hazmat or Tanker endorsements is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management skills.
