Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Deliver freight to customer locations on time and in excellent condition.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety procedures to minimize risk.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling and securement procedures.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to cross-state lines and adhere to varying time zones.
