Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the safety of the shipment and public.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation, adhering to all Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed.
