Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient loading/unloading and route optimization
- Ensure secure handling of specialized freight including temperature-sensitive and hazardous materials
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and on-time deliveries
- Document all transportation activities and maintain compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with GPS technology
