As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely across Florida and into Georgia, ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and legally in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and log findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate tie-down equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one shortly.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle maintenance checks.
