Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen.
- Entry-level experience is acceptable; on-the-job training provided.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication.
