Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks on designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, damages, and mileage.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Class A or B).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and cargo securement.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
