Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overnights if required.
