Job Overview:
We are looking for professional drivers to operate 53-foot dry van or flatbed trailers. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers while maintaining a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery issues.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, customer service, and driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
