Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and vans in and around the Oakland and Bay Area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently at customer sites.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/Eld) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Must have a reliable social security number and valid legal right to work in the USA.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and handle physical demands of the job.
- Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus but not required.
