Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
