Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and FMCSR regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License (Class B considered for specific local roles).
- Current DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong understanding of navigation systems and GPS technology.
