Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety guidelines and weight restrictions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Current DOT medical card and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screen and background check.
- Entry-level experience is acceptable; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regionally.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
