Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in the Albuquerque metro area and surrounding regions.
- Complete all necessary pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required by DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
- Ensure the truck cabin and cargo area are kept clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- No prior driving experience required for this entry-level position (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform basic physical tasks.
