Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUI or reckless driving violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle maintenance checks.
- Strong customer service skills and time management abilities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
