Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining a perfect safety record.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Provide excellent customer service at pickup and delivery points.
- Keep the vehicle and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
