Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery trucks (Class A) to transport freight to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and equipment readiness.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper placement.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery stop, handling inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- No previous driving experience required; we will train the right candidates.
