Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight safely and on time to designated locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while maintaining safety standards.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent Swift Logistics positively.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging miles and managing paperwork.
