Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Route Navigation: Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS systems to meet delivery deadlines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery receipts, mileage logs, and delivery orders.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, handling inquiries professionally.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write in English.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
