Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment while ensuring load security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely manner and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance meetings.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
