Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial vehicles in a professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and compliance of the equipment.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Provide exceptional customer service while delivering goods to various commercial and residential locations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks associated with loading.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
